Jay Ciniglio (New York City's Singing, Dancing, Pied Piper of Fitness) is an international entertainer, author, and fitness expert. His one-man off Broadway musical Finding My Way played to sold-out audiences in 2006.
Inspired by the great variety shows of the seventies, Jay began mystifying his classmates with homemade magic tricks and crazy cartoon voices. Dance lessons ensued, and by the age of ten he had won his first regional vocal competition, leading him to perform with members of the New York City Opera. Through perseverance, dedication, and his love of laughter, he has paved the way to his present status of beloved performer and well known, respected fitness expert. His book, JayWalking: The Ultimate Fitness Journey (Berkley, Putnam Press), was one of only a few fitness books to ever land a billboard in Times Square.
With his charisma, wisdom, and charm, Jay has consulted for the Rosie O'Donnell Show, the Leukemia Society of America, and Ronald McDonald House. His celebrity clientele has included such notables as Hillary Clinton, Mary Tyler Moore, Isabella Rossellini, Robin Strasser, Betty Buckley, Fox 5's Rosanna Scotto, and QVC's cosmetics mogul Laura Geller.
Jay has traveled the world in full scale musical productions. His new show "The Miracle Maker" (2010) promises to deliver a 75-minute extravaganza that showcase Jay's unique talent. Whether singing, storytelling, tap dancing, or performing his awe-inspiring illusions, Jay Ciniglo consistently creates an identifiable connection with his audience. Of course, no show would be complete without Jay's magical dancing dog-Roxy.
